Yes. Every finished video opens in the editor, where you can rewrite the narration, regenerate any single scene image or video clip you are not happy with, and recompile the video. Recompiling costs credits because the video is rendered again, but you only pay for what changed: reusing the existing voiceover is much cheaper than regenerating it. The rest of the video is left exactly as it was.
Yes, that is the main way people use it. You never appear on camera and you do not need a microphone. You write a script or a one-line idea, pick a voice from the 36 available and a visual style, and ClipPilot produces the whole video. If you want a recurring on-screen character without filming anyone, you can upload or generate a character reference and reuse it across videos so the same face appears in every scene.
You own the videos you generate and you have full commercial rights to them, so nothing on our side stops you from monetizing. Whether a specific video earns money on YouTube, TikTok or Instagram is up to that platform's own rules, which change and which we do not control. In practice platforms reward videos that add real value rather than mass-produced repetitive uploads, so treat the generated video as your starting point and put your own angle, script and editing judgement into it.
Yes. Vertical 9:16 is the default, which is the right shape for YouTube Shorts, TikTok and Instagram Reels. You can also render 16:9 for standard YouTube, 1:1 for square feeds, and 4:5 for Instagram portrait on image videos. The finished file is a normal MP4 with no watermark, so you upload it the same way you would upload anything you edited yourself.
An image video builds each scene from a generated still image with a slow zoom over it, which is cheap and works well for narration-led content like facts, stories and explainers. An animated video generates a real AI video clip for every scene, with motion and its own sound, which looks far better for visual formats but costs a lot more per second. There is also a rhyme format, which writes and generates an original song and cuts animated clips over it. Pricing follows the cost: about 100 credits for a one-minute image video, and 35 credits per second of finished HD animated video.
Yes. You retain full commercial ownership of any video you generate with ClipPilot. You are free to monetize them on YouTube, use them in paid advertisements, or sell them to clients.

Yes! Once your video has finished rendering, a Download button will appear next to the video in your library. You can save your videos directly to your device as high-quality MP4 files, making them easy to share on social media or use in other projects.
Because ClipPilot involves high-cost AI rendering, we cannot offer refunds once video generation credits have been used. However, if you have just renewed and have not used any credits in your current billing cycle, please contact us within 7 days of the charge, and we will be happy to process a refund.
It depends a lot on which format you pick, because they do not cost the same. A standard 1-minute video (still images with captions and voiceover) costs about 100 credits, so 3,000 credits is roughly 30 of them. Animated videos are the expensive ones, since every scene is a real AI-generated video clip. Those are priced per second of finished video: 35 credits per second in HD, or 25 per second at Standard quality. That works out to 420 credits for the shortest 12-second animated video and 2,100 credits for a full minute in HD. Rhyme videos use the same per-second rate plus a flat 250 credits for the song. The video counts shown on each plan are based on standard 1-minute image videos, so if you plan to make mostly animated content, use the per-second numbers above to work out what you need.
On the Creator, Pro, and Agency plans, unused credits automatically roll over to the next billing cycle, so you never lose value if you have a slow month. There is a cap on how many credits you can accumulate: monthly subscribers can hold up to 3 times their monthly allowance in total, while yearly subscribers can bank up to 12 months' worth of unused credits. The Starter plan does not include rollover — its credits reset each month.
Yes. You can cancel your subscription instantly from your account dashboard. You will retain access to your plan's features and remaining credits until the end of your current billing cycle. We do not offer refunds for partial months.
Credits are tied to your active subscription. If you decide to cancel, you will still have full access to your remaining credits until the end of your current billing cycle. We recommend using up your balance before your plan officially expires, as access to the credit bank ends when the subscription closes.
